Day 2; June 30: TDF: Prologue in Liege After breakfast, your guides will get you organized to go to ride. This ride features the route of the Spring Classic Fleche Walonne including the final kilometers of that race, which include the Huy Wall! 30km ride and 2km climb at 5.9% and Huy at 9.3%. After the ride, you are off to Liege for this opening stage of the 2012 Tour. While the stage is short, it is a prestigious one for the victor and sets a tone for the days to come! All the riders do a short time trial and the start and finish lines are very close together so we can be at either location for riders you wish to watch. Return to Namur afterward; dinner on your own. (B,L)

Day 3; July 1 TDF: Liege - Seraing, 198km. Today is a day off from the Tour live so that we can do a nice ride in the Belgian countryside and after enjoy some of the famous Belgian beers with brewery visit and tasting in the famous brewing city of Leuven. We will catch the Tour action on TV and Return to Namur after the stage finish, dinner included. (B,L,D)

Day 4; July 2: TDF: Vise-Tournai, 207km. Travel from Namur to Vise for the stage departure and then afterward we will enjoy another Belgian classic ride on the routes of Liege Bastogne Liege. We will ride the last 35km of this race from the strategic point of the Cote de la Redoute. Some climbing included: Cote Redoute is 2.3km at 7.4%; Cote de la Roche aux Faucons is 1.6km at 10%; Cote de St Nicholas is 1km at 11.1%. After the ride, we return to Namur; load up the bikes for travel to France tomorrow. Dinner out on your own. (B,L)

Day 5; July 3: TDF: Orchies-Boulogne sur Mer, 197km Today we check out of the hotel and then depart for the Champagne village of Epernary in France. A few hours driving across the countryside will leave some time to visit the village in the afternoon on your own - which can include some champagne tastings. We will organize a short ride of 30km into the surrounding countryside for those who wish to ride. Watch the Tour on TV and have a night on your own for dinner. Our hotel is a nice 3 star in the center of town. A massage can be arranged for a supplement of 120 euros. (B,L)

Day 6; July 4: TDF: Abbeville-Rouen, 214km After breakfast, we'll go out on a ride through the Regional Park of the Mountains of Reims; a moderate ride of about 40km over rolling countryside. Then after we'll visit the famed Veuve Cliquot Champagne house for a tasting in the afternoon. Watch the Tour on TV and have dinner as a group tonight. (B,L,D)

Day 7; July 5: VIP Day TDF: Rouen-St Quentin, 197km. After breakfast, we'll depart by van for the town of Reims and a visit of its celebrated Cathedral where former kings of France were crowned, and UNESCO World Heritage site. Then after, we travel a but futher to reach St Quentin for an unforgetable experience at the finish line of the Tour stage. Your VIP access at the Izoard Bus on the finish line puts you in perfect position to enjoy an exciting sprint finish. You can sip champagne and enjoy snacks while watching the Tour stage on TV's inside and outside the VIP area before the live action arrives before you. Return to Epernay after, dinner along the way included. (B,L,D)

Day 8; July 6: VIP Day TDF: Epernay-Metz, 210km. The race comes to us! From our hotel we can walk to the stage start where you will have a chance to enter the Village de l'Etape with other VIP's prior to the stage start. See the pro's sign in and line up, and have fun browsing the Village area and spotting Tour celebrities and past/current pro's. After the race stage begins, we will depart for the train station and the end of this tour. Trains to Reims and Paris are possible. We are available to book onward hotels, tours, and services with advance notice. (B)
