Chartes Time Trial & Paris Finish -

Recent history at the Tour de France has been to have an individual time trial after the last mountain stages and just before the grand finale in Paris. This individual time trial has consistently been the "decider" among the top GC racers who have just fought it out on the tough mountain slopes. Its never over for the climbers - because they must know how to TT ! Ask Cadel Evans in 2011! So it should go in 2012 - down to this stage with lots of drama - you can be there, and watch in style!

This 3 night package allows you to enjoy these final 2 stages in total VIP comfort with all the needed transport and lodging! We are including Relais Etape privileged viewing at the TT and then Tribune (grand stand seating) seating on the finish line in Paris. This program is one of our more popular, and we encourage early booking to ensure space.

Day 1 - arrival day - July 20: Arriving at Chartes in the afternoon, we will transfer you to our hotel near to the town of Chartres where you can arrive by train from Paris by mid afternoon in order to be at the hotel in time to see the Tour stage finish on TV. We will stay in the countryside and enjoy a gastronomic dinner tonight with tales of the Tour de France to discuss with your guides. (D)

July 21, Time Trial Day: Bonneval to Chartres, 52km. After breakfast, we will depart for a chateau visit and then to Chartres to see the Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site and marvel dating as far back as the 11th century! Afterward, it will be time to go to the Tour and your VIP experience at the Tour de France. We are organizing a special viewing site complete with a welcome aperetif, buffet lunch, champagne, and Tour de France souvenirs. Of course you have privileged viewing access on the TT route and will get to watch all of the top GC pros as they pass by our set up. After the time trial is over and the awards are handed out, we will depart on a train to Paris. We will arrange for you to have a light dinner meal on the train and then transfer you to your 4 star hotel near the Champs Elysees. (B, L, D)

July 22, Paris & VIP Seating for the Finish: The morning is open for you to visit Paris as you wish. Meet again after you have your lunch on your own at 1:00 pm at the hotel to assemble the group to go to the Champs Elysees and the last stage of the 2012 Tour. You will then be shown to your seats in the Tribune area reserved for VIPs only. After the Tour finish be sure to stay around for photos of the cyclists as they relax and celebrate finishing the hardest sporting event in the world! You are free to return to your hotel on your own; free evening with dinner on your own. (B)
