The Tour de France is the world’s most difficult sporting event and as such it attracts the most elite athletes humanity can produce. People come from all over the world to marvel at what these super humans can do over the course of 3 weeks. So, as the Tour is one of the world’s greatest spectacles – enjoyed by millions who line the streets and many millions more who watch on TV – getting close up experiences at the Tour is not an easy task. 
Amaury Sports Organization took control of its brand name a few years ago and has licensed a select few tour operators to market the Tour de France and give a very few of our clients special access to the workings of the Tour. Special access includes all of the following:
1. Riding on the Tour Route just prior to the arrival of the pro peloton – called “D-Day” by ASO, our clients get to ride the final kilometers and cross the finish line. Following that you can access the podium for photos in your favorite jersey – Yellow! You then move on to the finish line area reserved for VIP’s with drinks and food and giant screen of the final moments of the race from TV.
2. Access to the Departure Village – our clients have special access to the sign in area where the pro teams arrive to start the race and where media, event officials, and former pros gather prior to the stage start. Here is a chance to meet some legends of cycling and cycling media. We will visit a team bus and have ASO assistance to get us through the village.
3. Finish line access to Izoard Bus – we meet a guide at a specific time at the finish line area where we are then taken to a special ‘wagon/bus’ placed on the finish line where we will visit with media and then await the arrival of the peloton. 
4. All VIP guests will also get a souvenir welcome kit that includes a Tour de France cap, backpack, official Tour program, and t-shirt as well as a 15% discount shopping card for use in all the Official Boutiques of the Tour.
NEW in 2012: Ride in an official Tour car on select stages. Only a few are available, and will be offered first to non-cycling tour clients who may not get a D-Day experience.
Other VIP Events available: Paris finish seating in the enclosed grandstands; Relais Etape access to an enclosed areas for our VIP clients that includes food, beverages, entertainment, and a roadside view point to catch the action.
As an official tour operator we have special guides/access as well as passes to access the closed areas, signage for our vehicles, privileged parking access, and we are mentioned in publications by ASO to the media. We get additional discounts and so do our clients, at the boutiques selling all official Tour merchandise. Our clients have special wrist bands that allow you to wander freely in enclosed areas on VIP days.
We are offering several VIP tours, and the chance to book your own custom VIP tour. Each group will be no more than 15 persons and have at least 1 to 2 guides per group. We will travel in minivans and stay in excellent hotels we can offer in proximity to the race. Your guides are professional cycling guides, bilingual in French and English, and many of them are former or current racers at different levels. Private and custom groups can request upgraded hotels or transportation. 
For custom groups, we are able to add some additional VIP services. For example, in Paris we are offering select Grand Stand seating along the Champs Elysees, and we can also arrange helicopter flights, a special “Relais Etape” package, team car rides, and other services .

- For groups of 10 or More: lunch and/or cocktail packages combined with special seating – ask us
Helicopter Flights – we can organize for our VIP clients a complete day including helicopter flight and VIP Tour car behind the peloton. This unforgettable experience doesn’t leave out any details! Starting at 9am you finish at 6pm the same day. This is available for groups of 3 to 6 persons only. CUSTOM VIP: for custom groups we can offer VIP Access to ride a “D-Day” on a stage arrival and we can offer the Izoard Bus at a finish on various stages! Other Events: we are available to quote special programs, services, and arrange programs on a custom request basis for small to large groups. All group activities need to be booked well in advance. Let us know how we can help you!
