Pyrenees VIP Offers
Our Pyrenees tours are VIP and non-VIP, cycling and spectator! There are many offers in 2012 and many chances to see the Tour live in person! On our cycling tours, we offer different levels to fit all kinds of cyclists – challenging and moderate, and easy level cycling. We even introduced a SUPER Challenging tour in 2012!
The goal of our challenging level cycling tours is to ride long days including a lot of climbing. We want to enjoy the Tour de France on the days we can attend, including VIP events on those trips, but the focus is mostly to ride. We’ll add trophy climbs in the regions and get you as much cycling as we can, subject to road conditions.
On our moderate level cycling tours you will ride a good ride each day, but maintain a moderate level of cycling. This may involve some climbing but less than the challenging tours and a lower mileage each day. While these offers are not challenging, they are not for beginning cyclists either.
Our easy level tour is a chance to experience the Tour and do some nice countryside riding. It takes place in relatively flat regions in the eastern Pyreneen foothills and near the Mediterranean coast.
All our Pyrenees VIP tours, both challenging and moderate, offer the same special race access that only official tour operators, like us, receive.
These are the special VIP services on our 2012 Pyrenees cycling tours:
- July 18: Village Attendance at Pau – hang out with former pros, media, and tour officials and team prior to the stage
- July 14, 16, 18, 19: Attend Finish in Izoard bus – Enjoy this experience at 4 different stages! Be at the finish line in an exclusive area complete with snacks, champagne, and the best view.
- July 15, 19, 22: D-Day on 3 different stages, including Paris! Here you get to ride across the finish line and go on the podium!
